An effective pricing strategy is essential for continued sales success, and the repositioning of the ZS EV 99 kW is a big step in that direction. Despite a substantial increase in the tax rate for EVs from 50 kW to 100 kW, the new price for MG ZS EV (Deluxe) as announced by the company is only Rs 52.99 Lakh as against the old price of Rs 52.49 Lakh, a nominal increment of Rs 50,000 only.

"By capitalizing on the reduction of EV raw material prices post-COVID and experiencing a surge in global sales, the parent company has been able to successfully reduce the prices of their EV offerings globally. Nepal being no exception, the current tax increment has a very minimal impact on the price of MG ZS EV (Deluxe)", said the company in a statement.
